GaugeLab (ÖlçüLab) — Privacy Policy

GaugeLab (named ÖlçüLab in Turkish; “the app”) is a measuring tools app developed by Nexuvio: bubble level, ruler and angle meter, metal detector, sound meter, RPM meter, light meter and vibration analysis. This policy explains what information the app uses and how.

Data we collect

We do not collect any personal data. The app has no account, advertising, analytics or tracking tools. It does not connect to the internet; measurements and recordings are processed only on your device.

Sensors and permissions

• Motion, magnetic field and light sensors: used for the measuring tools, only while the tool is open.
• Microphone: used only while the Sound Meter or the bubble level’s voice control is on. Sound level is calculated on the device. Audio is saved only when you tap “Record sound”. Voice commands are processed by Android’s on-device speech recognition service; the app does not store or send this audio.
• Notifications: only while the vibration alarm is on, to show its state and let you stop it.
• Foreground service and wake lock: only when you arm the vibration alarm with “Monitor in background”, to read the accelerometer while the screen is off.
• Vibration: for alerts and feedback.

Data stored on your device

The following is stored only on your device and is never sent to us:

• App settings, target angle and calibration values
• Recordings you start: audio recordings (WAV) and vibration records

When you export or share light, RPM or vibration measurements as CSV or an image, the file goes only to the location or app you choose.

Deleting data

You can delete audio recordings from the Sound Meter’s recording list. Exported files stay where you saved them and can be deleted there. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data in Android settings removes all of the app’s data from your device. We hold no data about you that would need deleting.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page and the date at the top will be updated.
